The soccer field at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center on Whiskey Road returns Saturday, Sept. 12 to a fixture of Aiken’s civic calendar: the free 24th annual Touch-A-Truck, staged by City of Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Two schedule additions before and during the main event give families more ways to participate. A Sensory Hour from 9 to 10 a.m. offers a quieter first hour, and a Power Wheels Derby kicks off at 10 a.m. for kids 8 or younger, with a $5 registration through the coa.page/pfaa portal that opened Monday, Aug. 3.
Now in its 24th year on the Whiskey Road corridor, Touch-A-Truck returns to the Odell Weeks venue. Generac returns as sponsor. Additional details are available through the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Facebook page.
