Ruggable and Anthropologie Launch New Home Decor Collection

A new collection from Ruggable and Anthropologie, featuring rugs, doormats, and pet beds, has recently been released, building on their initial collaboration from about a year ago. This second collection aims for a richer, more layered, and intentional aesthetic, according to Maria O’Brien, Ruggable’s VP of Global Design.

The new range emphasizes deeper colorways, heritage-inspired patterns, and a contemporary flair. The design inspiration blends folk, heritage, and Art Nouveau influences, incorporating ornate details and storied patterns while maintaining a fresh appeal for modern homes. Pieces like the Wendel Rug showcase a mix of heritage florals and contemporary stripes, while the Dorian Rug features traditional Oushak patterns.

The collection’s motifs are designed to add personality to living spaces, with options ranging from plaid patterns, such as those seen in the Adrienne Rug, to pastoral scenes and geometrically deconstructed flowers. The color palette, which includes olive greens, true blues, mauve, warm neutrals, and burgundy accents, is described as grounded yet vibrant, and suitable for fall decor.

In addition to rugs and doormats, the collection introduces pet beds, with four options available in prints that complement the larger rug designs. The overall aim is to provide pieces that contribute to a layered, collected feel in a home, allowing for individual expression rather than an overly coordinated look.

Aiken residents looking to refresh their home decor with items that balance timelessness and individuality may find this collection appealing. The collaboration seeks to create spaces that feel personal and historically informed.
