AIKEN, S.C. — Job seekers can meet hiring managers at Aiken Technical College on Oct. 21, when the campus opens a three-hour community hiring event in the Building B gymnasium.
Campus organizers set the window for 10 in the morning through 1 in the afternoon. An employer roster updated Oct. 1 already topped 50 companies and agencies.
Tables are expected from county government, public schools, public safety, Aiken Regional Medical Centers, city hall, Dominion Energy, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions and state highway troopers.
Manufacturers, health systems, credit unions and a local Army recruiting office also appear on the confirmed list, along with Hubbell and Shaw Industries.
Organizers pitched the midday fair as a free public chance to talk with employers hiring across Aiken County and the broader Augusta-Aiken labor market.
Aiken Technical College will staff its own recruitment booth and a Technical Scholars Program table alongside outside employers.
