Augusta Player Wins Over $16,000
An Augusta player recently won more than $16,000 in an online Georgia Lottery game. The lucky individual secured $16,396 playing Money Strike Jackpots on Saturday. The winning play was made either through the Georgia Lottery mobile application or its official website.
Other lottery winners across the state include a Douglasville resident who won $65,000 playing KENO! on September 27. A player from Cumming won $11,021 playing Fiesta Loco on September 24, and a Rockmart player won $10,000 playing Georgia Wild Star MEGA Jackpot on the same day. Additionally, three separate tickets in Union City each won top prizes of $10,000 in the September 26 evening Georgia FIVE drawing. All three of these winning tickets were purchased at the Majik Market located at 3985 Jonesboro Road.
Profits generated by the Georgia Lottery contribute to funding the HOPE Scholarship and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
