AIKEN, S.C. — A four-day fall revival starts this Sunday at Lighthouse Baptist, an Aiken church that is asking neighbors to come together for worship through the middle of the week.
The opening services are Nov. 8 at 11 in the morning and 6 that evening. After that, the congregation plans another gathering at 6 each night on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, wrapping up Nov. 11.
Visiting evangelist George Koon is scheduled to speak. Promotional notes describe the week as a chance to turn over a new leaf and grow closer to Jesus, with an emphasis on renewal and community.
The sanctuary is at 2094 Columbia Highway N. People looking for a fresh beginning can come Sunday morning, Sunday night, or any of the three evenings that follow.
