Lexington Health to Host Women’s Night Out in Columbia
Lexington Health is set to host its annual Women’s Night Out event on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Pastides Alumni Center in Columbia. The event will honor breast cancer survivors and their families, aiming to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The evening’s activities will begin with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner, raffle drawings, and a fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors. A panel discussion will also take place, including physicians, care navigators, and families of survivors.
Donations collected during the event will support the Crystal Smith Breast Cancer Fund. This fund was established in memory of Crystal Smith, who worked at Lexington Medical Center for 22 years and passed away from breast cancer. The fund provides essential items and services to breast cancer patients, such as post-surgical kits for mastectomy patients, wigs, and mammograms.
