Lexington Richland School District Five Adult Education Program Holds College Expo Day
The Lexington Richland School District Five Adult Education Program recently hosted its annual College Expo Day on Tuesday, Sept. 22. This event provided adult education students with an opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from various institutions.
Participating institutions included Midlands Technical College, Benedict College, Midlands Quick Jobs, Allen University, and Columbia College. Students were able to gain firsthand insight into available opportunities, requirements, and scholarships.
Each participating institution expressed its support for adult education and its interest in recruiting adult education students, as well as other second-chance students. The district’s Adult Education Program aims to connect students with college or career experiences.
