This Saturday, January 18, from noon to 4 p.m., head over to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church located at 129 Pendleton St. for the Aiken Camellia Society Annual Show. If you’re a lover of this beautiful bloom, you won’t want to miss it! You can bring your own camellia blooms for judging between 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.. Just remember to fetch a few inches of stem along with some leaves. No need to worry about picking the right class, as there will be friendly volunteers available to assist you!
Community Commencement with New Law Enforcement Center
Just a day before the flower festivities, join the celebrations for the Edgefield County Law Enforcement Center Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Friday, January 17 at 2 p.m.. This exciting gathering will take place at 264 St Road, Edgefield. Mark your calendars and show your support for law enforcement in our community!
Treasure Hunting at the Trash & Treasure Sale
Get ready for some treasure hunting this Saturday as the Trash & Treasure Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 900 Kerr Drive S.W.. This event promises an array of goodies, and the proceeds will benefit the local community mission work of the Disciple Women’s Fellowship. And don’t miss the Quaker Virtual Service on January 19 at 10 a.m.!

The community is invited to a Vigil for Peace and Nonviolence on Monday, January 20, from 4-5 p.m. at Whiskey Road, right across from The Fresh Market. Let’s come together in unity!

Every Monday, join Let’s Go Bingo at Aiken Senior Life Services from 6 to 8 p.m.. And for the younger crowd, don’t forget the Kids’ Book Club on January 23 at the library at 4 p.m. Perfect for kids aged 5-10!
