## Broad Street Improvement Project Enters Next Phase

The Broad Street Improvement Project in downtown Augusta has advanced to its next phase, with construction beginning on new streets. Crews have started working on the outside phase of construction between 10th Street and 11th Street.

During this phase, workers will install a new bike path and sidewalk concrete. Representatives from the city of Augusta and the construction contractor, E.R. Snell, will coordinate with each business to determine the most suitable time for concrete removal and replacement.

The first phase of the project, which covered the area from 12th Street to 13th Street, was scheduled for completion on September 14. The entire Broad Street Improvement Project is anticipated to conclude in early 2027.
