## Airport Boulevard Roadwork Underway

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has initiated paving and patching operations on a section of Airport Boulevard. This roadwork spans through West Columbia and Cayce and is part of the SCDOT’s 2026 Pavement Improvement Program.

Crews are scheduled to conduct work Monday through Friday, operating between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This overnight schedule is intended to minimize disruption to traffic. During these overnight hours, traffic control personnel will be present on-site. Drivers can expect all lanes to remain open between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The project is anticipated to last for approximately one month. The SCDOT has indicated that any changes to this schedule will be announced.
