Aiken residents can expect a continuation of summerlike conditions for the next three days before a notable shift in the weather pattern brings cooler temperatures to the area later this week. High temperatures are forecast to remain elevated, typical for this time of year, particularly along key corridors like Whiskey Road and Richland Avenue where daily activities are common.

The current forecast indicates that the Midlands region, which includes Aiken and surrounding communities, will experience these warmer conditions through Thursday, September 24. This period will be characterized by daytime highs reaching into the upper 80s, with overnight lows settling in the upper 60s. Humidity levels are also expected to remain consistent with summer norms, making outdoor activities feel quite warm.

A significant change is anticipated to begin on Friday, September 25, as a cold front is projected to move through the area. This front will usher in a noticeable drop in temperatures, bringing a refreshing change for Aikenites. By Saturday, September 26, high temperatures are expected to fall into the low 70s, a considerable decrease from the earlier week.
