# Soulful Sounds Brings Harlem Renaissance to Columbia

A unique evening inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, Soulful Sounds, is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Columbia. This event offers an alternative to typical dinner-and-drinks outings, featuring music and comedy from Acute Inflections, a duo from New York City.

Acute Inflections has performed for over 50,000 guests across the United States and internationally, with their sold-out shows. Their musical style blends the classic elegance reminiscent of Billie Holiday with the soulful essence of Erykah Badu, creating a distinctive and fresh experience.

The event will take place at Chappelle Gallery, located within Allen University in Columbia’s historic Waverly neighborhood.
