# Saints’ Kamara, Chargers’ Biadasz Sidelined by Knee Injuries

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is expected to miss at least one month of play after sustaining a sprained MCL during a joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday. This injury marks another setback for the Saints, who also recently lost rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson for approximately two months due to a hamstring injury.

Kamara, entering his tenth NFL season, has been a key offensive weapon for the Saints. The team brought him back this offseason, and his absence will create an early-season challenge, potentially accelerating a transition to a split backfield.

In other NFL injury news, Los Angeles Chargers center Tyler Biadasz is out indefinitely with a knee injury. Biadasz suffered damage to his ACL and additional knee injuries during a joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday when a defensive tackle fell on his left leg. The 28-year-old center, who signed a three-year, $30 million deal in free agency, will undergo further evaluation to determine his recovery timeline. This is a significant blow for the Chargers, who faced numerous offensive line injuries last season.

Additionally, Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins reportedly tore his ACL during a joint practice against the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday and is expected to miss the entire 2026 NFL season. Higgins, a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, was anticipated to compete for a starting role this season after catching 41 passes for 525 yards and six touchdowns in his rookie year.
