Major Marijuana Trafficking Operation Dismantled in Aiken

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) has successfully dismantled a significant marijuana trafficking operation in a recent investigation that culminated in the arrest of a 23-year-old man from Warrenville. The operation was brought to light following a tip regarding a suspicious shipment of marijuana originating from California and destined for North Augusta.

During the course of the investigation, ACSO’s narcotics investigators confiscated multiple strands of raw marijuana, as well as thousands of marijuana-infused products. The total estimated street value of the seized items is approximately $500,000. Among the confiscated items were around 70 pounds of hybrid marijuana, 5 pounds of marijuana resin, 2,500 THC-infused gummies, and 5,000 THC vape pens.

George Huntington, the arrested individual, faces charges of trafficking in marijuana. There was no bond set for Huntington as of May 7, 2025, and additional details regarding his legal standing remain pending.
